AICCU Multiple Employer Plan

What is tHE AICCU Multiple Employer plan?

The AICCU 403(b) Multiple Employer Plan (MEP) was created to help our member institutions expand retirement benefit opportunities while maximizing limited resources. By centralizing both administrative and fiduciary responsibilities, the AICCU MEP reduces burden on campuses and enables institutions to offer a high-quality retirement plan that better serves their faculty and staff.

AICCU MEP Benefits

  • Outsourced fiduciary liability to a 3(16) fiduciary for record keeping and a 3(38) fiduciary for plan investment oversight.
  • Plan administration support that can help reduce your Human Resources team's workload.
  • Collaborate with other campuses to reduce fees and improve plan performance.
  • Strengthen employee pre-retirement investment planning.
  • Maintains individual institutional retirement plan design.
  • Enhance benefits at a potentially lower cost.
  • All participating institutions serve as a voting member on the governance committee.
